彭吉云教授,博士生导师。课题组主要关注中枢神经系统的神经胶质细胞参与神经系统生理病理功能的细胞和分子机制。研究工作使用在体电生理记录、膜片钳、光遗传钙成像等前沿技术,观察记录灵长类动物、啮齿类动物等在认知任务操作过程中的神经活动,解析相关神经环路的功能编码机制和病理变化过程;使用多种转基因小鼠、行为测试模型、免疫荧光成像、分子和生化技术等解读神经胶质细胞(如小胶质细胞、少突胶质细胞)在慢性疼痛、学习和记忆、睡眠觉醒周期转换等病理生理过程中的参与机制。
